SY5546-92 Oil well cement application performance test method 3 Technical requirements 3.1 Retarder can be divided into liquid or powdered solid products, and the product should be easily soluble in water. Retarder can be divided into two basic types according to the operating temperature range: medium temperature and high temperature. Medium temperature retarder should be suitable for cementing operations with a bottom hole circulation temperature of 3.2 60~90℃, and high temperature retarder should be suitable for cementing operations with a bottom hole circulation temperature of more than 90℃. 3.3 The retarder and its compatible admixture should have good compatibility. 3.4 The performance requirements of cement slurry with medium-temperature retarder are shown in Table 1, and the performance requirements of cement slurry with high-temperature retarder are shown in Table 2. Table 1 Performance requirements of cement slurry with medium-temperature retarder Item Thickening time (77℃.61MPa) Initial consistency The time taken for 40Bc to 100Bc Compressive strength (106℃.21MPa.24h) Ratio of 168h compressive strength to 24h compressive strength% Free water content (77℃.61MPa) The thickening time should be prolonged with the increase of retarder dosage. The preparation method is in accordance with Chapter 4 of SY5546-92. 4.1.2: Thickening time test 4.1.2.1 Under the test conditions of test temperature of 77℃, initial pressure of 9.4MPa, final pressure of 61MPa and heating time of 40min, the thickening time of cement slurry is determined. The determination method is in accordance with Chapter 6 of SY5546-92. By adjusting the retarder dosage, the thickening time is 120min±10min (No. 1 cement slurry) and 270min±20min (No. 2 cement slurry), and record whether the thickening time is prolonged with the increase of retarder dosage. 4.1.2.2·Record or read the initial consistency of No. 1 cement slurry and No. 2 cement slurry from the thickening curve, and take the larger value. 4.1.2.3 Record or read the time taken by No. 1 cement slurry and No. 2 cement slurry from the thickening curve, and take the larger value. 4.1.3 Compressive strength test Under the test conditions of curing temperature of 106℃ and curing pressure of 21MPa, No. 2 cement slurry is cured for 24h and 168h respectively. The compressive strength of cement paste with specified curing time is measured respectively, and the ratio of 168h compressive strength to 24h compressive strength is calculated at the same time. The test method is carried out in accordance with Chapter 10 of SY5546--92·. 4.1.4 Determination of free water content Stir No. 2 cement slurry in a high pressure thickener according to the test conditions specified in 4.1.2.1, and then measure its free water content. The determination method is in accordance with Chapter 7 of SY5546-92. 2 4.2 Evaluation of high temperature retarder 4.2.1 Preparation of cement slurry CPSCSY/T 5504-1996, Technical Committee for Standardization of Petroleum Industry Weigh 594g of G-grade oil well cement, 208g of quartz sand and 333g of distilled water, and weigh the retarder according to the dosage range recommended by the manufacturer. The preparation method is in accordance with Chapter 4 of SY5546-92. 4.2.2 Thickening time test 4.2.2.1 The thickening time of cement slurry is determined under the test conditions of test temperature of 118℃, initial pressure of 13.8MPa, final pressure of 111MPa and heating time of 60min. The determination method is in accordance with Chapter 6 of SY5546-92. By adjusting the amount of retarder, the thickening time is 180min±15min (No. 3 cement slurry) and 420min±30min (No. 4 cement slurry), and record whether the thickening time is extended with the increase of the amount of retarder. 4.2.2.2 Record or read the initial consistency of No. 3 cement slurry and No. 4 cement slurry from the thickening curve, and take the larger value. 4.2.2.3 Record or read the time taken for No. 3 cement slurry and No. 4 cement slurry to reach 40~100Bc from the thickening curve. Take the larger value. 4.2.3 Compressive strength test Under the test conditions of curing temperature of 142℃ and curing pressure of 21MPa, No. 4 cement slurry is cured for 48h and 1681 respectively. The compressive strength of cement paste at the specified curing time is measured respectively, and the ratio of 168h compressive strength to 48h compressive strength is calculated. The test method is in accordance with Chapter 10 of SY5546-92. 5 Judgment rules 5.1 If the thickening time does not increase with the increase of the retarder dosage, it is judged as unqualified. 5.2 In the test results, if all items meet the requirements of the first-class product, it is judged as the first-class product; as long as one item does not meet the requirements of the first-class product, but is not lower than the second-class product. It is judged as a second-class product; as long as one item fails to meet the requirements of the second-class product, but is not lower than the qualified product, it is judged as a qualified product; as long as one item fails to meet the requirements of the qualified product, it is judged as an unqualified product. 6 Inspection report The inspection report (or evaluation report) of oil well cement retarder should indicate the test conditions, cement slurry components, technical indicators and inspection results.
