The cold extrusion parts manufacturer may conduct re-inspection according to the technical conditions, and the production can be put into production only after the re-inspection is qualified. The items and contents of the re-inspection include: a) Appearance inspection
The surface of the material should be smooth, and no cracks, scars, inclusions, folds, cracks, shrinkage holes, bubbles, mechanical damage, oil stains, rust and other defects are allowed. The roundness and dimensional tolerance of the material shape should meet the supply requirements. b) Chemical analysis and metallographic inspection
The chemical element content of the raw materials should meet the requirements of the relevant standards. According to the requirements, the depth of the decarburized layer can be measured and the level of carbide segregation can be determined. The specific requirements are determined by negotiation between the supply and demand parties. c) Mechanical property inspection
Mechanical property inspection shall be carried out according to the relevant material standards. The inspection items include yield point, tensile strength, elongation after fracture3, cross-sectional shrinkage, Brinell hardness HB and cold forging test. 3.1.3 When the surface state, size and tolerance of the material cannot meet the requirements, peeling, cold drawing, grinding or other corresponding methods shall be used to improve the surface quality of the material.
3.1.4 During the processing of cold extrusion parts, if the product material is found to have foreign metal inclusions, internal cracks, shrinkage holes, bubbles, interlayers, peeling and serious non-metallic inclusions, the defective products should be removed; if they cannot be removed, the products shall be scrapped according to the situation according to the plate (ingot) or furnace (tank). If white spots are found, the entire furnace shall be scrapped.
3.1.5 When the broken material is made by shearing or other mechanical processing methods, the end face of the broken material is not allowed to have tearing and serious burrs. 3.2 Heat treatment
3.2.1 Heat treatment of raw materials before cold extrusion
The raw materials need to be heat treated before cold extrusion to improve the plasticity of the material and reduce the deformation resistance of the material. The hardness after heat treatment is shown in Table 2.
3.2.2 Heat treatment of cold extrusion parts
Cold extrusion parts are generally not heat treated after forming. If the product needs to be heat treated, specific provisions must be made in the product drawings. Table 2

The shapes and dimensions of cold extruded parts shall comply with the requirements of the drawings and technical documents. The tolerance of cold extrusion parts shall comply with the requirements of J13/T9180.1 or the drawing requirements agreed upon by both parties. 239
3.4 Surface quality of cold extrusion parts
JB/T 9180.2 -1999
The surface quality of cold extrusion parts shall comply with the requirements of product drawings. Generally, cracks, folds, shrinkage holes, bruises and other defects are not allowed. The depth of defects on the processed surface should be less than 1/2 of the processing allowance. 3.5 Mechanical properties of cold extrusion parts
3.5.1 Fiber structure
The fiber structure of cold extrusion parts should have a fiber direction that conforms to the shape, and generally no inspection is required. If there are special requirements for the metal flow direction or fiber structure, they should be specified in the relevant technical conditions. 3.5.2 Mechanical properties
Cold extrusion parts are generally not subject to mechanical property inspections. If there are special requirements, they must be specified in the product drawings. 3.6 Test methods
The test methods shall be as specified in Table 3.

Cold extrusions shall be inspected and accepted by the production quality inspection department according to the cold extrusion drawings and technical documents. They shall be accompanied by a product quality certificate before leaving the factory.
3.7.1 General inspection
General inspection refers to the appearance inspection and precision inspection of cold extrusions according to the provisions of the cold extrusion drawings and technical documents. Appearance inspection can be carried out by touching, visual inspection, light reflection, internal and external surface roughness inspection instrument and other methods to inspect the appearance quality of cold extrusions.
Precision inspection is to use special inspection tools or universal measuring tools to inspect the size, shape and position tolerance of cold extrusion parts. 3.7.2 Supplementary inspection
Supplementary inspection refers to the inspection outside the general inspection, including the inspection of hardness, decarburization depth, macrostructure, fiber structure, cleanliness and rust prevention.
3.7.3 Acceptance method
Since cold extrusion parts are mass-produced, random inspection or full inspection can be carried out as needed. The random inspection method shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of G1B/T2828 or GB/T2829.
When cold extrusion parts are supplied, deviations from the ordered quantity are allowed, and the deviation value shall be agreed upon by the supply and demand parties. 3.8 Marking, packaging and transportation
3.8.1 Cold extrusion parts are generally not marked. When marking is required, the supply and demand parties shall agree. 3.8.2 Cold extrusion parts shall be free of dirt and metal chips, and cold extrusion parts without metal coating shall be coated with rust inhibitor. Under normal transportation and storage conditions, it should be guaranteed that there will be no rust within three months from the date of leaving the factory. 3.8.3 Packaging requirements
Each batch of cold extrusion parts should be supplied with a certificate of conformity. Its main contents include: a) name of cold extrusion parts, cold extrusion part number; b) material brand, quantity, and date of leaving the factory; c) quality inspection and qualified mark;
d) manufacturer's name.
3.8.4 The anti-rust, packaging, transportation methods and requirements of cold extrusion parts should be indicated in the order agreement. 240
