UDC 667.6: 001. 4
GB 5206.2--B6
This standard specifies the terms and definitions (or descriptions) of resins for paints and varnishes. This standard is applicable to the production, application, scientific research, teaching, publication and compilation of standards for paints and pigments, and can also be used in technical and business exchanges at home and abroad. : This standard is formulated with reference to the draft international standard ISO/DIS4618/3.2 "Paints and varnishes-Vocabulary I-Part 3: Terminology of resins" and relevant standards of other countries. Each entry of this standard includes a term, its corresponding English name and its definition (or explanation), and is given an index number. Synonymous terms are listed after the terms as the same entry, where the first term is the preferred term and the term immediately following it is the permitted term. Below the term is the corresponding English name, followed by the definition (or explanation) of the term. If there is a term that is no longer in use, it will be listed after the definition (or explanation).
Priority and permitted terms are indicated in boldface, and no longer in use terms are indicated in non-boldface. Boldface in round brackets indicates that it can be omitted, and blackface in square brackets indicates that it can replace the previous word or word. The numbering of this term is based on GB5206.1-85 "Vocabulary of Paints and Varnishes Part 1 General Terms". 3 Resins
