National Standard of the People's Republic of China Marine white hand flare Marine white hand flare 1 Subject content and applicable specifications GB 3107.4--91 Replaces GB3107.4-82 This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of the pull-type hand-held marine white hand flare. This standard applies to the white hand flare used when the distressed ship needs to be rescued or when the life-saving station and the marine rescue agency guide the distressed to land. It meets the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea and the 1969 International Code of Signals adopted by the International Maritime Organization. 2 Reference standards GB 3107. 1 General technical requirements for marine pyrotechnic signals 3 Product classification 3.1 Type and size Marine white light flame signals are hand-held pull-type ignition type pyrotechnic signals. Its main components include shell; handle; ignition device; protective cover;bzxz.net safety cover; white light signal body. 3.1.2 The signal body consists of ignition powder and signal powder. 3.1.3 The outer diameter of the marine white light flame signal shall not exceed 40mm, the total length shall not exceed 300mm, and the total mass shall not exceed 240g. 3.2 Marking example Handheld white light flame signal (BGY) white light intensity 10000cd, burning duration 30s, marked as: BGY 30-10 000 GB 3107. 4--914 Technical requirements 4.1 The manufacture of marine white light flame signals must comply with the technical requirements of Chapter 4 of GB3107.1. 4.2 The technical performance of white light flame signals should meet the following requirements: a. b. The intensity of white light shall not be less than 10000cd; The duration from the pull to the ignition signal shall not be less than 2s; c. The color of white light shall be in accordance with the diagram specified by the International Commission on Illumination, and the area boundary of its chromaticity shall be within the range of the angle coordinates listed in Table 1: d. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on May 22, 1991 522 Implementation on March 1, 1992 GB 3107.4---91 4.3 This product shall function effectively after repeating 10 cycles at an ambient temperature of -30 to +65℃. 4.4 It shall be able to withstand a low temperature of -30℃ and a high temperature of +65℃, and function effectively at this ambient temperature. It can work effectively in any sea conditions with a high temperature of +65℃ and a relative humidity of 90%. 4.5 4.6 This product should not be affected in its performance after being immersed in water at a depth of 10cm for 5 minutes in the ready-to-fire state. 4.7 This product should work effectively after being immersed in water horizontally for 1m for 24h. 4.8 This product should be able to withstand the salt spray test of 20% NaCl solution. 0.443 4.9 This product is still in a safe state and works effectively after falling freely from a height of 2m according to the prescribed method. After ignition and burning, it should not harm the operator and any nearby personnel. 4.10 The ignition device of this product should be integrated with the product. 4.11 During the ignition and combustion of this product, there should be no dripping of combustion residues of materials with flames (or signals of flames). 4.12 Use a 1m2 test basin or water tank, add 21 heptane to the water surface, and then start a white light flame signal at a height of 1.2m above it. The dripping materials during the combustion process shall not ignite the heptane. 5 Test method The test method of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB3107.1. 6 Inspection rules 6.1 The inspection rules of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 6 of GB3107.1. 6.2 When this product is first produced without obtaining the approval certificate, each batch is composed of 240 pieces; after obtaining the product approval certificate, each batch is composed of 480 pieces. 6.3 The items, technical requirements and sampling quantity of this product for factory inspection shall be in accordance with the requirements of Table 2. If one of the items is still unqualified after the re-inspection, the whole batch shall be repaired and re-inspected. 6.3.2 During the factory inspection of this product, if one of the items is unreliable or the burning time is less than 25s or the burning time of two items is less than 30s, it shall be doubled for re-inspection. If it is still unqualified after the re-inspection, the whole batch shall be scrapped. 6.4 The light intensity test of this product shall be carried out every 5 batches of production and meet the requirements of 4.2b. of this standard. Marking, packaging, transportation and storage The marking, packaging, transportation and storage of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 7 of GB3107.1. 523 Additional remarks: GB3107, 4-91 This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China.
