ICS.47.020.50 Ship Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China CB/T749—1997 Fixed steel shutters Not-opening steel jalousies Published on October 17, 1997 China Chaobo Industry Corporation Implemented on June 1, 1998 CB/T749—1997 According to the requirements of SOLAS (1983 Amendment): "The main air inlet of all ventilation systems should be able to be closed outside the ventilated space", and the main ventilation openings on the walls above the dry deck with weathertight requirements must also have weathertight requirements. The original standard CB749-68 can no longer meet the requirements of SOLAS and use. For this reason, this standard has made a comprehensive revision of CB749-68 in terms of function, specification and structure. While retaining the structure and specifications of CB749--68, the standard adds weathertight shutters. The M-type shutters of this standard adopt the closing type of weathertight hatch covers in structure, and adopt detachable shutters with fixed blades and rodent-proof nets, insect-proof nets and fire-proof nets. Various nets can be placed in front of or behind the blades at the same time. Considering the needs of the vents, the weathertight cover plate adopts various thicknesses, and the live bolts used for tightening adopt two inversions. This standard specifies a total of 93 specifications. This standard will be implemented from the date of publication and will replace CB749--68. Appendix A of this standard is a prompt appendix.
