Preparation Instructions
This standard is compiled by the Ministry of Chemical Industry in accordance with the requirements of the State Planning Commission's Document No. 2390 [1987], and is compiled by the Construction Technology Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry in conjunction with the Ministry of Metallurgy, the Ministry of Energy, the Sichuan Provincial Construction Committee and the China Petrochemical Corporation. It was approved by the Ministry of Construction on June 24, 1993 with Document No. (93) Jianbiao 456, and was jointly issued with the State Administration of Technical Supervision. In the process of compiling this standard, the standard compilation team conducted extensive investigations and studies, carefully summarized the practical experience of quality inspection and evaluation of industrial metal pipeline projects in my country, and also referred to relevant international standards and advanced foreign standards, and widely solicited opinions from relevant units across the country. Finally, our ministry and relevant departments reviewed and finalized the draft. Since this standard is used in conjunction with the national standard "Industrial Pipeline Engineering Construction and Acceptance Specification" (Metal Pipe Part GBJ235-82), the content has been revised accordingly during the revision process, and the inspection items have been adjusted to meet the needs of industrial pipeline engineering inspection and evaluation. In view of the fact that this standard is compiled for the first time, during the implementation process, it is hoped that all units will combine engineering practice and scientific research, carefully summarize experience, and pay attention to accumulating information. If any modification or supplement is found, please send your opinions and relevant information to the Construction Technology Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry (Huaizhong Middle Road, Shijiazhuang City, Postal Code: 050021), and copy it. Sent to the Ministry of Chemical Industry for reference in future revisions.

Chapter 1 General
Article 1.0.1 This standard is formulated to unify the inspection and evaluation methods for industrial metal pipeline engineering quality, strengthen enterprise technical management, and ensure engineering quality. Article 1.0.2 This standard applies to the inspection and evaluation of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, pressure cast iron, and non-ferrous metal industrial pipelines in metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, petrochemical industry, machinery, light industry, textile and other industries. The design pressure of the pipeline is 400Pa (absolute pressure) ~ 100.101MPa (absolute pressure), and the design temperature is -200 ~ 850℃. This standard does not apply to:
1. Pipelines belonging to the equipment body;
2. Instrument pipelines;
3. Nuclear power pipelines;
4. Pipelines dedicated to mines;
5. Trunk pipelines.
Note: Trunk pipelines refer to the following:
① Gas pipelines that transport gas from mining or production areas to urban residents and industrial enterprises; ② Oil pipelines that transport oil from main pumping stations to refineries and transshipment bases; ③ Pipelines that transport oil products from the main pump room of the factory to storage and transportation bases, docks and piers; ④ Oil and gas (steam) pipelines that cross the seabed or cross rivers. Section 1.0.Article 3 Inspection work should be carried out during the construction process, and quality assessment work should be carried out after the construction of the pipeline sub-project is completed. The construction unit should have construction records of the relevant project engineering, and the construction records should contain the project content specified in the relevant provisions of this standard. Article 1.0.4 This standard should be used in conjunction with the current national standard "Industrial Pipeline Engineering Construction and Acceptance Specifications".
Article 1.0.5 In addition to implementing this standard, the quality inspection and assessment of industrial metal pipeline projects should also comply with the provisions of the current relevant national standards. Engineering Construction Standards Full-text Information System

Chapter 2 Engineering Division, Quality Inspection and Assessment Procedures and Quality Grade Division
Section 1 Engineering Division
Article 2.1.1 Sub-projects should be components of sub-projects. In the same sub-project, pipeline systems with the same working medium and pipeline category should be classified as a sub-project. The pipeline system should be divided according to the specific conditions of the design and production process. In the sub-project, the sub-project that plays a decisive role in the quality of the project should be classified as the main sub-project. Class I and II pipelines and pipelines for toxic, Class A and Class B fire hazardous media should all be main sub-projects.
The classification of Class I and II pipelines and pipelines for toxic, Class A and Class B fire hazardous media should comply with the provisions of the current national standard "Industrial Pipeline Engineering Construction and Acceptance Specifications". Article 2.1.2 The sub-project should be a component of the unit project and should be divided according to the specialty in the unit project. The pipeline project in the same unit project should be a sub-project.
Article 2.1.3 In a unit project, when there is only a pipeline sub-project, the sub-project should be a unit project.
Section 2 Quality Inspection and Assessment Procedures
Article 2.2.1 The quality inspection and assessment work should be carried out step by step in the order of sub-project, sub-project and unit project.
