This standard replaces JB/Z195—83 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Metal Cutting Machine Tools. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Milling Machine Branch of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Metal Cutting Machine Tools. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the series composition, purpose, performance characteristics, varieties and parameters of plane milling machines. JB/T3313.2—1999
Replaces JB/Z19583
This standard applies to newly designed general-purpose vertical milling machines with a worktable width of 320~630mm, and column and face milling machines with a worktable width of 320~1000mm. 2 Referenced standards

4 Application and performance
4.1 The type of vertical
machine tool is shown in Figure 2.

Vertical surface milling machine is a basic series. It is suitable for batch production in machine tools, automobiles, tractors, diesel engines and light textile industries, and is used for milling horizontal planes and grooves of various parts. After being equipped with corresponding accessories, it can also mill inclined surfaces, arc surfaces, etc. The machine tool should have the following performance characteristics:
a) The vertical plane milling machine adopts a column to fix the bed: b) The spindle box is placed on the column, can move in the vertical direction, and has a manual spindle sleeve. The surface roughness R value of the machined workpiece is not less than 3.2um. The accuracy should meet the requirements of JB/T3313.3. The machine tool is a V-level accuracy machine tool specified in JB/T9871-1999. According to the user's special order, the following special accessories can be provided to expand the performance of the machine tool: a) Universal dividing head:

Single column surface milling machine and double column surface milling machine are basic series. They are mainly suitable for milling horizontal and vertical planes of box-shaped and rack-type parts produced in batches, and can also be processed by down milling and reverse milling. After adding suspension beams and brackets, rolling cutting can be carried out. With corresponding accessories, inclined surfaces, arc surfaces, spur gears, splines, etc. can also be milled. Convenient chip removal. The machine tool should have the following performance characteristics:
a) Single column or double column is fixed to the bed: b) The spindle box is placed on the column, can be moved in the vertical direction, and has a manual spindle sleeve: c) The machine tool has a chip removal mechanism.
Double-column face milling machine has the processing performance of single-column face milling machine, and can also mill workpieces from both sides at the same time. The accuracy and surface roughness are the same as those of vertical face milling machine. According to the special order of users, the following special accessories can be provided to expand the performance of machine tools: a) Universal dividing head;
b) Flat-nose pliers.
4.3 Face type
The type of machine tool is shown in Figure 4.

Face milling machine and double face milling machine are basic series. They are mainly suitable for large cutting amount milling of vertical planes of box-shaped and frame-type parts produced in batches.
The machine tool should have the following performance characteristics:
a) The spindle box can be moved horizontally, and the pad can be replaced when necessary to adjust the distance from the spindle axis to the worktable, thereby expanding the processing size range:
b) The spindle box of the face milling machine is generally located on the right side of the worktable, or on the left side of the worktable. The double-end face milling machine can mill the workpiece from both sides at the same time:
c) The spindle box and the adjustable pad are directly fixed on the slide and have a manual spindle sleeve; d)) The machine tool has a chip removal mechanism.
The accuracy and surface roughness are the same as those of the vertical plane milling machine. 4.4 High-speed type
High-speed vertical plane milling machine, high-speed single-column plane milling machine, high-speed double-column plane milling machine, high-speed face milling machine, and high-speed double-end face milling machine are suitable for aviation, automobile, tractor, instrument, electrical appliance and other industries, and can mill non-ferrous metal materials such as magnesium and aluminum alloys. In addition to the performance characteristics of the basic series, the machine tool should also have the following performance characteristics: a) The maximum spindle speed is not less than 2500r/min, and the maximum feed rate is not less than 3000mm/min; b) It should be stable when working at high speed:

e There are measures to control the temperature rise and thermal deformation of the spindle. The machine tool accuracy should comply with the provisions of JB/T3313.3. The surface roughness R value is not less than 2.5μm. The machine tool is a V-level precision machine tool in JB/T9871—1999.
4.5 Low-speed type
Low-speed vertical milling machine, low-speed single-column milling machine, low-speed double-column milling machine, low-speed face milling machine, and low-speed double-face milling machine are suitable for military, steam turbine, automobile, tractor, aviation and other industries, and can mill heat-resistant alloy steel, titanium alloy steel, high-strength alloy steel and other difficult-to-process materials.
In addition to the performance characteristics of the basic series, the machine tool should also have the following performance characteristics: a) The minimum spindle speed is not higher than 10r/min, and the minimum feed rate is not more than 8mm/min; b) When working at low speed, it should run smoothly and have good shock resistance; c) The down-milling mechanism should ensure reliable operation under dynamic load: d) The feed system has a reliable overload protection device: e) Each moving part has a reliable locking mechanism. The machine tool accuracy should meet the requirements of JB/T3313.3. The surface roughness R value is not less than 3.2μm. The machine tool is a V-level precision machine tool in JB/T9871-199
