The standard solutions and preparations required in the test shall be prepared in accordance with the provisions of GB601, GB602 and GB603 unless otherwise specified. 4.1 Determination of active matter content
4.1.1 Summary of the method
Dodecyldimethylammonium chloride is a quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant that can form a complex with dichlorofluorescein yellow. When titrated with sodium tetraphenylborate solution, dichlorofluorescein yellow is displaced from the chelate to form a bright red complex. When the endpoint is reached, the excess sodium tetraphenylborate reacts with the indicator, and the complex in the solution changes from bright red to yellow. The active matter content in the sample is calculated from the consumption of sodium tetraphenylborate. The reaction formula is:Www.bzxZ.net
