Introduction to standards:
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of direct zinc oxide. This standard applies to zinc oxide obtained by pyrometallurgical treatment of zinc concentrate as raw material. Direct zinc oxide is mainly used in rubber, coatings, cables, glass, ceramics, enamel, petroleum, chemical and other industries. GB/T 3494
This standard is a revision of GB3494-83 based on national conditions and with reference to Japanese, German and British standards, with major changes in technical content and clauses. Nine technical indicators of impurity lead oxide, water-soluble matter and sieve residue are tightened to meet user requirements, and two technical indicators of hydrochloric acid insoluble matter are appropriately relaxed; two technical indicators of ignition loss are added; arbitration sampling methods have been greatly changed, which improves the advancement and versatility of this standard.
This standard replaces GB3494-83 from the date of entry into force. This standard was proposed by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation. The responsible drafting unit of this standard: Shuikoushan Mining Bureau The drafting unit of this standard: Shuikoushan Mining Bureau The main drafters of this standard: Tang Aiqun, Xia Derong 155
